Three seventh-graders and the school groundskeeper form a secret detective team who investigate mysterious events and crimes that take place in their suburban hometown. Puzzle-loving Jericho is the Riddle Runners bright, and skeptical founder. Her spinal muscular atrophy has left her physically weaker than most people her age, but what she lacks in brawn she more than makes up for in brain. Her wheelchair comes equipped with special gadgets that can give her a leg (or an arm). She is joined with her motley crew of top-secret school detectives: school jock Omid, school gossip Berdy, school groundskeeper (and Jericho’s uncle) Mr. Otto, and loyal labradoodle, Gavin.
